Brisbane

Brisbane, Queensland   The sophisticated capital city of Queensland

Brisbane is the capital of Queensland and Australia’s third largest city with a population of 2.3 million. It’s the gateway to many iconic and incredible regions of Queensland, starting from the sandy Moreton Island to the Gold Coast, Fraser Island and Noosa. Renowned for its world famous Great Barrier Reef and complemented by a perfect climate and world-class meeting facilities; it’s no wonder Brisbane rates as the world’s 6th best business destination according to The Economist.

Brisbane has experienced enormous economic, population and cultural growth over the past 20 years. Key growth industries are business services; construction; education; finance; government; health; manufacturing; mining; clean technologies; retail and transport. To support this, Brisbane has excellent transportation links with the non-curfew international airport just a 20-minute drive from both the central business district and the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Brisbane is truly a city for the senses; with a well-planned series of paths and bridges connecting the city centre to South Bank and urban precincts. Brisbane is intertwined by the river, its parks and moderate skyscrapers.

The choices are endless for those visiting and extending their stay.
